  • Kuchipudi Dance

    Kuchipudi Dance is a drama in the form of classical dance, which was originated in Kuchipudi village in Southern Part of India. The name of this dance form was derived from Kuchelapuram district, Andhra Pradesh. Earlier, this dance form was formerly executed by only men. In today’s time, a majority of Kuchipudi dancers is women. The Kuchipudi dramas are basically enacted in the evening, on improvised stage, in the open sky. Kuchipudi is yet another jewel in the majestic crown of rich culture of India and the dance is famous for its charm, elegance and grace. Kuchipudi was refined, protected and nurtured by the proficient artists, responsible for its present form.

  • Hip Hop

    Hip-hop dance refers to dance styles primarily danced to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture. This includes a wide range of styles notably breaking, locking, and popping which were developed in the 1970s by Black and Latino Americans. What separates hip-hop dance from other forms of dance is that it is often freestyle (improvisational) in nature and hip-hop dancers frequently engage in battles—formal or informal freestyle dance competitions.

    Breakdance or breaking is a street-based dance that incorporates intricate body movements, coordination, style, and aesthetics. The people who perform this style of dance are known as b-boys or b-girls.

  • Contemporary

    The name "Contemporary Dance" describes a range of techniques and styles used in classes, workshops and dance choreography. Contemporary dance was developed in the early 20th century as a reaction against the rigid techniques of ballet. Contemporary dance is characterised by its versatility: contemporary can be danced to almost any style of music, or united with other dance forms to create new styles of movement.

  • Salsa

    Salsa movements originate from the Cuban Son dancing of the 1920s, and more specifically through the beat of Son Montuno with strong influences from the dance of Danzon, Mambo, Guaguanco and other Afro-Cuban folkloric dancing. Salsa is typically a partner dance, As a result, today there are various distinct styles of Salsa dancing, namely Cuban ("Casino"), New York Style ("Mambo on 2"), Los Angeles Style ("On 1"), Colombian Salsa ("Cali-Style") and Miami-Style Salsa.

  • Bharatanatyam

    Bharatanatyam is one of the popular Indian classical dance forms. Previously referred to as Sadir, Dasiattam and Thanjavur Natyam, it demands unconditional and complete dedication from the performer. The dynamic and earthy style of this dance makes it one of the most chosen forms of Indian classical art forms. Although Bharatanatyam is predominantly performed by women, men are also known to engage in it. While the women wear a typical sari in the dance performance, men have bare chest and wear a dhoti-like outfit in the lower part of the body.
